ASHLAND, Ohio (AP) - Former White House press secretary Tony Snow, diagnosed with cancer three years ago, canceled a speaking appearance at Ohio's Ashland University because of an unspecified illness, the university announced Wednesday.

I think that he will be 53. But I am having trouble keeping track of my own age, so I could be very wrong.

My English ancestors came, really, on the Mayflower. Our lines came up t'Maine several generations ago, before Maine was a separate state.

But my maternal grandfather was 1/2 French, descended from Antoine F. that came to Quebec from Normandy in 1635...and our French line came down t'Maine several generations ago.
