For a company of 10 employees at 9 days a year that is 90 days. A full fiscal quarter of paid leave.

While your point is well taken, I believe that this is more likely:

For a company of 10 employees at 9 days a year that is 90 days. One employee laid off and we are below the minimum size for this act. And now, no paid leave again - problem solved.

By the way. The laid-off employee is on the dole now and becomes a Democratic voter - an unstated goal of this bill.

Companies with below 10 employees are still required to provide up to 5 days per employee.

I most certainly agree with your point, though.
