Good grief. How can reasonable, educated people possibly think this? One would have to suspend all ability for critical thinking to think this way. When he sticks, to the script, his delivery is mediocre to adequate. When he gets away from it, he's full of "uhhhh" and "ya know". He sucks as a speaker.
He also has the greatest capacity for making gaffes. Very few people hear the candidates seeches. But, the gaffes come through loud and clear and are shown.
Yes. Suspension of Disbelief is a common actor's tool, but this is real life. - and it's downright scary because no logical response can be used to overcome this emotive underpinning.
