In yesterday’s speech, in regards to the Holocaust, I was surprised that he brought up his great uncle again and how he was part of the 89th Infantry that liberated Ohrdruf. He seems pretty convinced that he’s telling the story correctly.
Somewhere ...I think I saw a Youtube with video clips of each of those statements...

IRAN IS A ‘TINY’ THREAT??
According to Barack Obama, there is no need to worry about the “tiny” threat from countries like Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, etc. You see, we don’t have to worry about them because they aren’t as big of a threat as we faced during the Cold War with the Soviet Union. Here’s the quote, “Iran, Cuba, Venezuela these countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don’t pose a serious threat to us the way the Soviet Union posed a threat to us. And yet we were willing to talk to the Soviet Union at the time when they were saying, `We’re going to wipe you off the planet.’”
That’s interesting because I do recall Iran threatening to wipe Israel off the face of the planet. I do recall Iran developing a nuclear program. I do recall Iran offering its nuclear expertise to other Muslim countries. I do recall Iran funding and training terrorists that are killing American troops in Iraq.
Oh and by the way, this threat from Iran is all George Bush’s fault, according to Barack Obama. Well guess what, it wasn’t George Bush’s fault when Muslim terrorists decided to attack our country in September 2001. Rather than “talk” and appease the enemy radical Islam George Bush stood up and defended the greatest country in the world with the greatest military.
Yes, Barack Obama, Iran is a threat to the United States because it is engulfed in a religion of hate. It is ruled by a mad mullah who wants nothing more than to extinguish the Western way of life all of those homosexuals they don’t have over there, for example.
Not recognizing your enemy is just as bad as not fighting it to begin with. John McCain has already called out Obama on this statement. He says that this statement shows the depth of Obama’s inexperience and reckless judgment.

Are you going to feel all that comfortable with Obama as our commander in chief? Sorry .. not me.

Reaction to AIPAC: Obama needs a history lesson [Reader Post]

As expected, Barack Obama spoke of his unwavering support for Israel when he appeared before delegates at the AIPAC convention today in Washington, D.C. As president I will never compromise when it comes to Israels security, he said. But will he?
He has pledged to meet diplomatically with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has been explicitly denying the Holocaust and calling for Israels destruction for the past few years. But he also said something very interesting today: we must maintain the isolation of Hamas and other extremists who are committed to Israels destruction.
So, I ask you, Senator Obama, what about Ahmadinejads Iran does not scream for inclusion in this group of extremists you intend to isolate? You yourself said that Ahmadinejads regime is one of the greatest threats to the United States, Israel, and world peace and described him as reckless and irresponsible. Does his denial of the Holocaust and active pursuance of a nuclear weapon not classify him as an extremist committed to Israels destruction? Your own words described him as such. The bottom line is, meeting with Ahmadinejad, just like meeting with Hamas or HizbAllah, will give legitimacy to a terrorist group that should not have it. But you have failed to realize this.
So why meet with him?
Obama gave his reasoning for meeting with Ahmadinejad today in his speech. He said that he would like to adopt a policy that includes direct engagement with Iran similar to the meetings [the United States] conducted with the Soviets at the height of the Cold War, laying out in clear terms our principles and interests. This may seem equivocal, but there is something terrifically naive about this statement.
The Soviet leaders never called for the absolute and total destruction of the United States. They did not equate Americans to devils. They were the communist counterpart to Americas capitalism, and while things occasionally did get hot, negotiations were always possible because the Soviets were in the same situation that America was in. Both superpowers were dedicated to their economic and political system, and were ensuring their own security with an arsenal of nuclear weapons.
Despite all of the differences, all of the heated debates and the scary moments, the Soviets were just as rational as the Americans were. They knew that a nuclear war would end badly for both sides. Thus, diplomatic meetings between the Americans and the Soviets were fairly successful. They came to agreements, worked out differences, and avoided conflict.
Ahmadinejad, as Obama has stated himself, is not a rational person. He is bent on the destruction of the Zionist devils through any means possible, including nuclear war. His lack of support from and respect for his people suggest that he is willing to make a significant sacrifice to accomplish his goal.
Tell me, Senator Obama, does this look to you like Iran under Ahmadinejad is at all similar to the Soviets under Krushchev, Brezhnev, Andropov, Chernenko, and Gorbachev? I certainly hope not, but then again, your speech suggests otherwise.
The place to learn this hateful, communutty organisin stuff is at the ACORN homee page where they teach ya just like in a madrassa about God (BLEEP) America because we's too rich an powafool!!!

Just more evidence that this man is an inexperienced rube. Yesterday at AIPAC he tried to act the tough guy and said the following:
Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided,
Well, seeing as how the US position on this issue for years has been .no position really. Other then insisting on the two parties work it out themselves. You can see how this got him into some hot water:
Facing criticism from Palestinians, Sen. Barack Obama acknowledged today that the status of Jerusalem will need to be negotiated in future peace talks, amending a statement earlier in the week that Jerusalem must remain undivided.
~~~Obama quickly backtracked today in an interview with CNN.
Well, obviously, its going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations, Obama said when asked whether Palestinians had no future claim to the city.
Both sides are just a bit pissed:
Many on the right of the political spectrum among Americas Jews welcomed Obamas remarks at AIPAC, but the clarification of his position left several cold.
The Orthodox Union is extremely disappointed in this revision of Senator Obamas important statement about Jerusalem, said Nathan Diament, director of public policy for the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations. He had sent out a release Wednesday applauding Obamas Jerusalem remarks in front of AIPAC.
In the current context, everyone understands that saying Jerusalem must remain undivided means that the holy city must remain unified under Israeli rule, as it has been since 1967, Diament explained.
If Senator Obama intended his remarks at AIPAC to be understood in this way, he said nothing that would reasonably lead to such a different interpretation.
Morton Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America and another Jewish activist who had originally lauded Obamas statement, now called the candidates words troubling.
It means he used the term inappropriately, possibly to mislead strong supporters of Israel that he supports something he doesnt really believe, Klein charged.
~~~And some groups were pleased by the clarification on Jerusalem provided by the campaign.
There was reaction from some of our base who were taken aback by it and thought he was undermining the peace process, said Americans for Peace Now spokesman Ori Nir, who described his organization as gratified by the clarified position which seems to follow APNs policy that sovereignty of Jerusalem could be shared in a final peace settlement.
No experience in foreign policy, diplomacy, and very little experience as a legislator ..man, you Democrats can pick em huh? He does give a damn spiffy speech tho. In a empty suit.
If Obama is elected, minutes after Obama is sworn in:
Israel will take out Iran’s and Syria’s nuclear capabilities and their political and military leadership with Israel’s nuclear weapons.
Insane Americans may want to commit suicide by voting for Obama or not voting for McCain.
Israel will not commit suicide by allowing Hussein ObamaMessiaHamas to sell them out to his Islamic buddies.

Israel Attack On Iran “Unavoidable” - Olmert Deputy

JERUSALEM — An Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear sites looks “unavoidable” given the apparent failure of sanctions to deny Tehran technology with bomb-making potential, one of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s deputies said on Friday.
“If Iran continues with its programme for developing nuclear weapons, we will attack it. The sanctions are ineffective,” Transport Minister Shaul Mofaz told the mass-circulation Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.
“Attacking Iran, in order to stop its nuclear plans, will be unavoidable,” said the former army chief who has also been defence minister...
Thank you for using my statement and I like your graphic so much I copied it for posterity.
