This won’t be a McCain vs Obama race. It will be R vs D. The GOP needs to advance reasons to vote for Republicans instead of against Democrats. GOP’s ‘we have nothing to offer but fear itself’ is drawing dead.
Absolutly spot on. McCain is totally inept at addressing issues at home. The GOP has nothing to offer, but fear. While we need to fight Islamofacism overseas, he fails to address it here at home.
I appreciate his service to this country, but that is not going to beat Barry.
McCain will be unable to beat Barry because he shares Democrat policies, but comes off as war like.
Those Democrat votes he wants so much will not be adequate enough to propel him to the WH. Not to mention he is about the worst speaker I have ever tried to listen to. McCain is about to find out his adoration from the media that he has so loved, is about to end.
The GOP is offering, yet again, as they first did when they ran Poppy Bush against Mike Dukakis, the Sure-our-candidate-is-a-pile-of-crap-wrapped-in-skin-but-the-other-guy-is-a-bigger-pile-of-crap-than-ours argument. That argument I bought for twenty years but am not going to this year. Buying that argument produced a GOP that continued to slither leftward. I will not help it on its socialist way anymore.
