I have several questions. First...who exactly is going to sponsor or have commercials on such a show? You’d have to put this show in the league of “Bigfoot” or “Loch Nessie”...and it’ll be pretty dumb of me to advertise my product on such a show. Second...at least 2,000 Americans will watch the show....think it true and real...and commit suicide within a week. No apologies from ABC, but someone ought to think about how negative this whole concept is. Third and final...if you want to talk it up right now...the key phrase throughout this show will be “change”...any of you know a political guy running in an election six weeks after the show who advocates “change”?
Yes, it is a paid commercial by friends of Obama...and you really need to puff this entire show up for what it really accomplishes. If I were the other networks...I’d try desperately hard to get Britney on a show that night and steal the thunder entirely.
