A 5-year-old Los Angeles boy is fighting for his life after police say he was severely tortured with burns and food deprivation by his lesbian mother and her live-in girlfriend.
Officials say the child has countless cigarette burns all over his body, including his genitals, and can't open his hands because he was forced to put them flat on a hot stove.
The boy was also repeatedly beaten and forced to sit in his own urine, police said.
"In my time in policing in 27 years, I have never seen anybody with these kinds of injuries that has lived," Los Angeles Police Department First Assistant Chief James McDonnell said. "And this kid must have a tremendous will to live to be able to still hang on despite what he's been through."

I don’t think comparing conservatism, which is the natural state of healthy people, to the depraved behavior of homosexuality is a fair comparison though.
In fact, it could be argued the people who lead one kind of depraved life, homosexuals in this case, are more easily sidetracked into practicing another type of depravity, torturing children, than healthy people.
Sadly, among my first thoughts as well.

Because those of us who have known lesbians know that they have a fundamental hatred for men. I have seen first hand the “mothering†of a young boy by some of the these people. It was hideous and cruel. Ignorance is no excuse for lack of common sense.

These women are on drugs. Being lesbians has nothing to do with it.
Well, comparing conservatism to lesbianism may have been a stretch of a comparison, I should have thought more carefully...
But, do we agree that given the facts currently presented to us in the article, we cannot jump into the conclusion that it is their lesbianism that caused their criminal behavior?
Just recently, in the UK, the equivalent of CPS refused to investigate the sexual abuse of a boy by his homosexual male caretakers because of the fear of being castigated as “homophobic”.
I’m not suggesting the CPS wasn’t concerned about discrimination.
I am suggesting that being a lesbian doesn’t make one a torturer or inhumane.
Being a drug addict does.

I’m more concerned about the (in)actions of those agencies that are supposed to be protecting kids.
Bet they wouldn’t have one bit of a problem investigating a Christian homeschool family at the drop of a dime.
You’re right, MrB. The services that should protect our children aren’t, either due to underpay, or overwork, or understaff, or a liberal mentality.

While I can discuss the breakdown of society in this case, I am really avoiding the mere thought of this child’s suffering.
It breaks down my faith in God, and this is where I’m so weak, because when I hear of these child abuse cases I wonder why God didn’t remove the child if He were so powerful.

You can make ridiculous excuses like.."the lesbianism has no bearing" only if you are a moron or a lawyer. The rest of us actually live in the real world.
I don’t know... honestly, I think it was all about them being psycho and not about their sexual orientation or the gender of their child, there’s also been straight mothers that have snapped and killed their children (IIRC, there was an incident with some lady in Texas drowning or trying to drown them in a bathtub?) or abused their children, regardless of gender. I know quite a few lesbians personally, and they range from the typical man-hating feminazi types, to otherwise perfectly normal women, although it tends to be the older ones who grew up in the 60’s and 70’s who are the man-hating ultra-feminist types. The point being, this goes way beyond a refusal or lack of desire to have sex with men, and into ‘severely psychotic’.
It is absolutely no wonder that social workers have among them some of the highest suicide rates than any other profession. They go into it like wild eyed liberals and the reality hits them so hard that they can barely stand the pain and then they find that the politically correct system prevents them from doing anything to save these children. Stop THINKING and find out what is really happening. The truth will shock you.
Sadly, with the manifestation of the ruling of California’s activist judges, we are going to see a lot more of these tragedies. God help the poor kids who are going to be subjected to these perverted ‘marriages’.
Dear Lord!
May He cover this child with His Mercy, Love, Peace, Healing, and no memory of these monsters.
May Our Blessed Mother cradle this boy in her arms, and bring him the love he has never been shown.
