I think we should all be a little careful (actually a lot careful) assuming either way where George Carlin is in the hereafter. Carlin’s death has certainly brought out the worst in people here on this thread. His early and middle career was brilliant, but later in life he was a bitter (and just plain hateful) old man. He was actually at his worst (comically) when he was political. He simply wasn’t funny at those times and ended up coming off like a kook. That being said, I’ll pray for the repose of his soul (and for peace to be with his family).
