Obama was wrong then, and he is wrong now, embarrassingly wrong.
Doesn’t matter what he says, they’ll report what they want anyway.
Barack Obama is so articulate he doesn’t even have to read the scripts written for him by speechwriters anymore.
Journalists will just insert what Obama SHOULD be saying...
It’s too late for B. Hussein to make a speech like his friend Zakari suggests. BHO has been wrong about Iraq, he’s wrong about the WOT and applauded SCOTUS’ horrendous ruling on Osama’s constitutional rights.
The Fareed Zakaria who wrote this is one of the people they are saying could be Obama’s Secretary of State.
The LSM might as well tell him what to say because Obama Mugabe Hussein doesn’t seem to have a clue.
This is the new mantra from The Left. Al Qaeda, an organization that was capable of bringing down the two largest buildings in New York 7 years ago, an organization that decided to take the war to the Americans in the cities of Iraq and has been DECIMATED on that battlefield and has failed to strike in any way on the U.S. homeland is somehow judged to be stronger now than in 2001. That is simply not true and any journalist that makes that claim is simply spouting Dem Talking Points.
And Iran, rationing gas at home and having their butts kicked not just by the U.S. military but by the Iraqis themselves find that they have American troops on two borders and the U.S. Navy parked off-shore while Israel contemplates when not whether they will add to the carbon content of the atmosphere by bombing the Iranian nuclear facilities back into the middle ages. It would nice if the idiot who wrote the article would explain to his readers why Obama, who wants the U.S. out of Iraq, wants to establish a policy in 100% agreement with the Iranians who also dearly want us out of Iraq. If being in Iraq strengthens Iran then why in the H do they want us to leave?
Idiot journalists drive me nuts.
“...most people agree with Obama’s judgment that the war was not worth fighting.”
Says who, numbnut?
The "most people" that respond to the polls that say the Iraq war was not worth fighting, are ignoramouses who couldn't find their own @ss with both hands.
Maybe the MSM should go ask a few Iraqis if THEY think the war was not worth fighting, or a few of the servicemen and women who are or have been involved in liberating that country from a brutal thug and his equally viscious and brutal sons.
Oh wait, I forgot - we went there for the oil... yeah, that's it.
Uh, so he was right about the war before he was wrong about the war, right, Fareed?
How was he "prescient"? He opposed the war. But what did he say would happen if we launched the war, and was he right?
It's like if I say "we shouldn't go out, it might rain. Then we go out anyway, and while we are out it doesn't rain, but you twist your ankle. Was a "prescient"? No, just lucky.
Even if you think we should NOT have fought the war (and I, who opposed the war before it started, no longer think we should not have fought the war), unless you correctly predicted the current state of affairs, you weren't smart.
