Well Duh!

The Constitution doesn't confer ANY rights on the people.

The Constitution limits the powers of the Government to interfere with rights of the people.

Those rights come from God, not the Government.

I wonder how many of us realize that we have been privileged to see history in the making. No second amendment case of this magnitude has come from the court since the 2nd amendment was ratified in 1791. And now, A Supreme Court has finally ruled on what the vast majority of Americans have known for 200+ years...we have the right to keep and bear arms. Imagine the waiting disaster for this nation if Kennedy, who favors child rape and conferring constitutional rights on foreign terrorists, had voted---quite illegally---to overturn the constitution itself!! (The fact of such a vote should absolutely be grounds for immediate removal of the 4 Marxists from the court.) Leftist run cities and towns, even entire states, would have seen jack-booted thugs breaking down the doors of homes and businesses, confiscating weapons, perhaps imprisoning owners, all the result of 5 robed "justices" overstepping their authority by destroying one of the great documents ever written. And by deciding that only government, not God, confers rights.

I can think of one explicit mention, and one general but inclusive mention:

  1. 2ndA (Duh).
  2. 9thA: "The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."
