Other than reputation, which is very hard to quantitate, none (thus the legal recourse angle isn't really anything worthy of exploring, plus that isn't who we are.)

The concern will be in the long term if stuff like this is used as evidence to stifle internet free speech.

Right then. No basis for legal action of any kind on FR's behalf.

You are correct that this is a political matter. Which is one of the reasons I'm often pointy end of so many pitchforks around here.

I think it's important to offset some of the mindless witchhunts that seem to be more consistently occuring on FR of late. Infil-traitors perhaps?

The cheering section for vigilante baseball bat-lady in Seattle, the "you can tell an illegal just by looking," these such posts.

Those pitchfork and torch sessions are just so much counterproductive venting (the relieve the urge to actually DO something constructive about it,) and just provide google-searchable examples to be used to tar-and-feather us by the REAL pitchforkers over on the left.
