I wouldn't call it 'delight.' A despicable monster like this kidnapper/rapist/rapist incites outrage in most people.
A painless death is much more than he deserves.

Belgium. I remember now. Judges, Police officials,ministers of government and many others were all implicated. And then the story just kind of faded away. I don’t recall any big names ever printed. You have to wonder.
Is this the Crocker Road in Randolph Center? I have been on that road.
Brooke lived with her mother.
She and Brooke’s father have been apart for years.
Brooke’s father has a wife, and the two of them have been shown in some interviews. The father has been in Iraq until fairly recently, managing to return home safely but now his young daughter has been kidnapped, raped and murdered by the mother’s sister’s husband.
The father has said he does not know the man at all.
The mother has been shown a couple of times. She seemed strange to me, the way she conducted herself.
But the bottom line is, this uncle had free reign to come and go as he pleased in Brooke’s life, apparently, yet he served time for kidnapping and rape in the past.
He also told the girl who he admittedly kidnapped and raped that he had raped and murdered a 12 yr old girl in Arizona prior to that. Authorities say they weren’t able to confirm that part...
Also, the mother was once herself married to a pervert. An ex-husband of hers, who they call Brooke’s stepfather, has been arrested for sexually assaulting an underage girl, in an unrelated case (to Brooke’s). Also I believe charged with obstruction of justice in Brooke’s case, for apparently trying to hide or deep six his internet child porn collection when being investigated...
This poor child never had a chance, it seems...

No the poor child sure didn’t. Thanks for the information on the parents. I have not really been following the case then my mother asked me about it yesterday. She said she has seen lots on it but no mention of the mother or biological father.
This whole story has been freakishly unbelievable to me as I went to high school with this creep (bit of a quiet guy then, didn’t seem far outside the norm...). There were rumors of some disturbing events after high school, which may be in regard to the 1985 lewd and lascivious charge, but I’m not sure. It also involved a family member and may have occurred when he was still a juvenile, hence the difficulty finding a record of it. The wife graduated 2 years after him, not sure when they married. I believe they have kids, don’t know how many or how old. I believe it would be impossible for her NOT to know of his 1993 conviction even if they weren’t married yet. This is a small town....everyone knows everything. Her sister (different last name), graduated 2 years after her. The current sex charges against the uncle and stepfather are for the 14 -year old who helped take Brooke back to the Uncle’s. The specific incident they are charged with occurred in 2007, although she had been abused by the Uncle for 5 years. She has also been identified as a relative. I believe it is impossible that the mother would not know her brother-in-law was a convicted sex offender, plus apparently the father claimed on Greta he had warned her about her new-husband (the ex-stepfather) being a sex offender. It’s a shame he didn’t try to get custody of Brooke then. According to the wife’s testimony in the affidavit, she knew of some very disturbing events and behaviors and chose to do nothing about it. I wish someone would ask these hard questions of the mother and her sister. I wish they could strap these men to a post and let the family have at them.

IMO, the 'mother' knew something about all of this. Those phony tears didn't fool anyone.
