The infants in the press corps needed to be talked to like children. They have all been more than deserving to be verbally spanked, and only the Snowman could do it with a smile.
It does! I'm still giggling.
One time he read my post and said my screen name on the air. It caught me so off-guard, that I think my heart stopped for a second and my eyes opened so wide that I'm surprised they closed again.
Everyone of us knows what FRiends Bob and Tony where.
This is going to be interesting.

The final one is bittersweet of course, knowing what we know now. But I think it’s appropriate as a personal optimistic farewell from Tony to his friends here.

Were Beckel and Tony that close? If so, I had no idea.
So different they were.
Tony never talked down to anyone, but if anyone deserves to be talked down to, it’s the WH press corps. Being with them is probably like being with a bunch of 7th graders with raging ADD after they’ve each had a liter of Mountain Dew.
Bob actually looks like he has been crying.
Reminds me of the time that Tony had Beckel on the radio show and read my critical FR post of his guests over the air, just as he was introducing Bob.
I just turned on the TV and heard the terrible news. I’m so sad for Tony and for his family. Those poor children, to lose their father so young. And his poor wife, so young a widow. Cancer is a cruel, cruel illness. May God take Tony into His loving embrace, and may He bless and comfort his grieving family. I’m just heartbroken for them all.
Look at Tony, Cal and Bob Beckel in their younger years. How funny! Love Tony’s green and white striped shirt and green suspenders.

I knoew that a few years ago when Beckel was going thru some semi-pubicized personal issues that Cal Thomas talked to him and invited him to church.

Ahhh, his oldest daughters birthday is this weekend.
