Fox News is announcing that Tony Snow has died.
Heartbreaking news.
Remember when we went to his office during CPAC?
I was stuck by the pictures he had framed on his wall that his children had drawn.
He also was just so proud of how well his children had done on their report cards.
I feel so bad for his children. They must be hurting so horribly

Prayers for Tony, one of the genuine good guys. Always had a smile for everybody. So very, very sad to realize he’s gone. Prayers and condolences to Tony’s lovely family.

What an incredible loss. I always felt like I could learn something from Tony’s great attitude about, well, everything. He was one-of-a-kind. May God be with him and his family right now and always.

I saw the news this morning and had a very good cry and said prayers for him and his family. I made sure to wear white for The Snowman. :-)
I know Tony would not want us to sit around feeling bad for him, but remember the good things. So, I will remember the time he replied with a “ROTFLMAO” when I told him that the regulars from the Tony Snow radio show thread were going to fight the Laura Ingram fans, reminiscing about “Theodoric of York: Medieval Barber” and old-timey SNL, and his awesomely warm smile.
I was going to change my tagline to something more respectful for this thread, but I think Tony would appreciate a good Simpson’s reference. God bless you, Tony.

Well said, dmd25. Me neither! I started off writing notes on a wee pad, ran out quickly. Now I have a 3-ring size paper, filled with the numbers of posts I want to check out—videos of Tony and his band, etc.—if I ever get to the end of these posts! It’s taken me forever but I know they will be an inspiration for many days to come.

Megan Kelly just said something that I have been thinking all day. They keep saying that “Tony lost his battle with cancer” and every time I hear that I think...”No, he didn’t.” He fought it and LIVED every moment to the fullest and because of that he won.

Tony was a great guy, a personable, clear-thinking conservative. I loved it when he would post here on Free Republic during his radio show threads.
