Good night, everyone! I am glad I got to talk to so many of you, since I am not here as frequently as I used to be.

I have been in the hospital for the past few days (my twins are finally here!) and we have been so busy—so I just learned of this a little while ago and it just broke my heart. :*(
My family and I send our most sincere condolences and prayers to Tony’s family and friends over this very sad loss. I was so hoping he would be able to beat this cancer the way he bravely and faithfully fought it. :*( America has truly lost a real hero today. :*(
Not that God needs a spokesman, but he just got a good one. Thanks for fighting the good fight Tony.
I remmember watching his closing statements on Sunday morning. I felt, this was a man who really knows whats right, whats important, and how to live. Tony was a man for all seasons.
I only hope his children grow up to learn how great their father was. He touched so many. Sometimes children don’t realize all the other people their father touched. Its such a gift to have such a great parent.
Way up thread, NordP suggested we all do 5 random acts of kindness in remembrance of Tony. It doesn’t have to be any thing major, just holding the door for someone or letting someone merge in front of you in traffic. NordP, would you be able to repost that? It was great.

I went to the funeral of Senator Helms this week. Another giant gone from us.
Heaven is likely witnessing quite a reunion this week of those two men, among others who were admired and helped by them, these two especially who stood for freedom and truth and liberty and compassion and kindness and for God in their lives with their families and on behalf of their country!
May God by His grace send us more “lights” to this nation at our time of need. Some bright ones have left us with heavy hearts this week....we are cast down but not in despair!
Our ultimate hope, as was Tony’s, as was Jesse Helms’, is in our God! He will not fail us nor forsake us...Nor those whom these great but humble men left behind.
Omigosh, I almost attacked my screen!! :) That settles it, I’m having pepperoni next time! Mine didn’t have pepperoni, which I love, trying to be good. Better turn off my computer tonight so I don’t go berserk in the middle of the night!!!!
