This is one of the mysteries of life I am still trying to figure out. It just makes everything else seem so trivial in comparison.

Maybe that's it, to help show us that loving each other the best we know how and caring for each other is really the secret of life. Everything else is just petty.

Tony did die young, but he really, really lived. He was an instrument for God's love and kindness on Earth.

I want to add that none of us exist in a vacuum, for better or worse, all our actions affect others. Tony seemed to choose the path of “better.” That’s what I mean he was an instrument of God (I didn’t want it to sound like I was deifying him).
