“Let's just say that the emotional development of the girl is far more complex and involved than the emotional development of the boys...and that you will spend considerable time in years to come listening to your wife and daughter talk about the travails of girldom...only to find yourself slack-jawed with incomprehension, trying to nod appreciatively while saying to yourself, “Whuh??? I don't understand any of this!!”

Bless you, Miss Didi! It was totally priceless and a keeper. Tony had such a gift for always finding the right words in every situation; they truly came from his heart.

What an absolute hoot! Even more so, because hubby and I were discussing our daughter yesterday, and he said much of the same. He instinctively knew what to do with our three sons, but having a girl was always a mystery, and he just hoped he didn’t mess it up. He didn’t; she’s a lovely, kind hearted twenty year old young lady, and will choose a husband well, because she had a good role model, and someone wonderful with whom to compare.
