I know just what Tony would be telling us right now.
Yes, the tears will come, but after the tears remember me with laughter and smiles.

Reminds me of something our former Assoc. Pastor said in his last sermon before being transferred to another parish. He'd only been with us three years, but we loved him dearly, and our Parish had been his first assignment after his ordination. He was quoting a Dr. Seuss book, I think, and said "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

I think Tony would agree. He was certainly taken from us WAY too soon, but we are so much richer for his having been among us, even for such a brief time.

This is so beautiful. I went upstairs to grab a cup of coffee and looked outside--the sun was shining so bright but at the same time---it was raining! So I grabbed the camera and just knew there would be a rainbow--ran to the back of the house and look over the trees--there it was! A rainbow!

See, there are our tears for loosing Tony today--but we can always remember his beauty and goodness at the same time. His smile was sunshine and his goodness was a beautiful thing to behold--Gods Rainbow
