"Robert Anthony Snow is survived by his wife, Jill Ellen Walker, whom he married in 1987, and three children, Kendall, Robbie, and Kristi."

God bless them and keep them throughout this sorrowful night and in the difficult days to come. Our hearts go out to you, Snow family....

So much to say about where Tony grew up. His high school was one of our main football rivals each year (still is), but it was a time of Princeton’s ascendancy. What’s remarkable about it in that era is that his school was a thoroughly integrated, happy, successful place. Most of the remainder of the city seemed to be bastions of segregation, neighborhood by neighborhood, and school by school. Others were seething.

But Princeton always seemed to rise above that somehow. And theirs weren’t rich sophisticated neighborhoods. They were very middle class. What a great place to grow up.
