The man talking was a childhood friend of Tony’s. They played in a band together.

A friend is allowed to say, “He really used to cheese me...” and have it put in the context of close childhood friends.

I got from the quote that it 'cheesed' him when he became "Bush's mouthpiece". It looked to be a quote from a DU poster. Sorry, they could have found someone in the whole of Cincy that was a true friend of Tony's that could have respected him more, especially on his passing.

I'll apologize, I am a bit hypersensative right now....but I feel Tony deserved better.
