May God rest his soul in peace.

May the Lord be very near to his family.

I am thanking God for Tony’s life.

Amen - thank God for Tony Snow’s life and legacy.

There has never been a more decent individual in the “news” business, IMHO.

CNN replayed a time when Tony stood before the WH press corps and got very emotional (the only time I have seen when this happened) in which he was expressing his THANKSGIVING for having gone through the cancer - something like, “I am so grateful for having had this happen” ....something to that effect.

Does anyone know - was it the first occurrance of this cancer that was the catlyst that brought Tony into a deeper relationship with God?

I had not heard that before this was replayed today on CNN.

Prayers for his beloved family.

Our nation, and Free Republic, were brightened by Tony’s presence and service.

Another one surely hears from His master, “Well done, good and faithfyl servant.”

What a lovely tribute, Joya. Those were the words I was looking for and I’m going to say them every day. Tony Snow was a Blessing and a gift to all of us, a perfect example of living a life of grace and love. Tony touched millions of people with his joy of life. He was very soft-spoken and modest and epitomized the word class.

Bahbah and saveliberty, I don’t think I thanked you for your pings. I was just so stunned to hear this terrible news. I can’t imagine the agony Tony felt knowing he was leaving his beloved family. We need to cover them all with our prayers.

Tony’s faith was very strong; he accepted his fate. I know our Lord was with Tony and his family as he passed from this life. He left behind many, many broken hearts. We will miss you terribly, dear Snowman.
