VP Cheney is clearly a fan of Tony and is speaking very highly of him and his skill as a press secretary and as a man of principle. It is a nice interview, Chris Wallace is doing a good job and it is clear that the VEEP is enjoying paying public tribute to Tony.

Obama’s ears aren’t big.
It’s his head that is small.

'His friends were across the politcal spectrum and many are saying that he never let politics get in the way of that friendship'

A perfect example was his friendship with Juan Williams.

Maybe we will see Tony playing his flute again on F&Fs.

Did you just hear Rush on Fox & FRiends.
He said,”Tony looked at death as a promotion, that how in touch he was with God”

Emphasis on GOD.

Tony had a radio show with Beckel, prior to Fox news days.
He also did college circuit ‘debates’ with Helen Thomas. THAT takes a strong character, willing to see some good in absolutely everyone.

As I said to you yesterday thank you for those photos and I still find the ones where he had lost that wonderful hair heart breaking.

We have lost one of the good guys and although so many people are sadden by his passing and we will all miss him I am thankful he is no longer suffering and is now in the arms of his Saviour.

Who is interviewing her? I like Carley, she is usually very smart and well spoken; could it be her frustration with the interviewer that is causing her to be “snotty”?

I’m watching Wallace and Cheney; Chris talking about Tony’s faith.

Sadly, Morgan, I’m not aware that he ever posted here on the Sunday thread. Lurked maybe, but never posted.

Yesterday morning on the C-SPAN call in show people were calling in and making some rude comments about Tony Snow because of his comments about leaving the White House job because it only paid $168,000 USD. They said he was out of touch.

It seems to me that anybody who thinks that $168,000 is a lot of money compared to the average federal government payroll is also out of touch: do they think we ran up a $9 TRILLION (with a T) National Debt because the government pays close to minimum wage?

It also aggravated me that people would call and make rude remarks about a person on the day he died, but then I remembered that to these people, politics is more important than common decency.

Good point, that! Bechel should never been allowed back after that whore thing. Modern society has lost the value of shame.

She was probably trying not to cry I know I blink often when trying to hold tears back.

Regardless of political differences I am certain Greta and Tony would have been good friends and she will miss him greatly.

From Media Matters:

In her October 21 New York Times column (subscription required), Maureen Dowd wrote that potential Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama (IL) is "intriguingly imperfect," citing as one example the fact that "[h]is ears stick out." In a December 11 weblog entry, Chicago Sun-Times Washington bureau chief Lynn Sweet wrote that Obama, following a press conference the previous day in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, "headed toward New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd and chided her -- in a kidding way -- for a comment in the 12th of 14 paragraphs in an Oct 21 column. She wrote that Obama's 'ears stick out.' "

OBAMA: You talked about my ears. I just want to put you on notice: I'm very sensitive about -- what I told them was, ''I was teased relentlessly when I was a kid about my big ears.' "

DOWD: We're just trying to toughen you up.

You may be right, AB, I am thinking of comments he made on-air that seemed to have come from FR and what was being said here on numerous Sundays.

I do remember the live radio thread and Snow’s responses to comments. I tried to catch that when I could.
