The B-52 was going to do a fly-over for “The Guam Liberation Day” parade.

Pastor who lives on Guam has a blog:

“The Guam Liberation Day parade was still going strong when we left after three-and-a-half hours of floats, bands, and carabaos. I have never been to a parade where they gave away more candy, tea, Pepsi, pencils, Frisbees, ice cream, bottled milk, umbrella hats, t-shirts... Perhaps that’s why it moved so slowly — lots of interaction with the crowd. Lots and lots of fun.

We’ll be back down there tonight for the fireworks.

Unfortunately, a B-52 which was supposed to fly over the parade has apparently crashed out at sea. Rescue efforts are underway.”
