McCain is barely breaking a sweat and getting zero coverage, and he’s still competitive with Obama. All McCain needs is some passion combined with passionate supporters and he can win this. Obama, as far as I can tell, has already sucked up all of the stray iron filing-followers that his magnet will draw.

McCain if FAR from my 1st choice.

But I've found reasons to cast a ballot for him and to not
"stand on the sidelines".

1. The ghastly alternatives.
2. Obama attacking "Focus On The Family" and James Dobson
(presumably because they declined to permit faux-Christian Obama
a visit (Photo-Op!) at the Focus on the Family campus.
3. If 200,000 Old Europe folks (Germans) turn out to support and
worship Obama...well, that's enough reason to vote for McCain.

McCain will likely turn out to be a disappointment if he ends
up President in Jan 2009.
But a President Obama will surely be a disaster if he sticks
to his nebulous "Change" agenda.
