It must be noted that CW5 David Cooper is one of the most decorated soldiers alive and on active duty today. In addition to the just awarded Distinguished Service Cross, Mr. Cooper has also been awarded two Bronze Stars, the Distinguished Flying Cross and a Silver Star. Of the 13 Distinguished Service Crosses that have been awarded since September 11, 2001, David is the only soldier to receive it alive. (http://archive.patriotpost.us/pub/08-31_Brief/page-2.php)

This is a great story of courage that does credit to everybody involved. You’re right to point this out.

All of these guys come from “army line units”.
They have the benefit of being very specific in their tasks.
No “ash and trash” duties.
Have you spent much time in “army line units”?
