very very rarely is water in ANY gas today as the stations
has inline filters everywhere...In boats and especially Motorcycles water enters when a vehicle is parked with less than a full tank....That invites condensation......one should NEVER park a bike or boat with 1/2 a tank or less..

I just looked up "funnel filter at West Marine" because I didn't know what it was. It looks pretty simple to use and is probably worth it costing from 30 to $60. Good investment if your getting water in the tank.
What I do is simply ignore the low volume gas stations.
It has worked for me.

I think this is the ‘smart car’, seen one today, most Democrat supporters will not like being cramped into one of these, but they also will choose to get their income from the narrow channel of government, instead a infinite number of choices given by low tax rates.

Well, I know a lot of people did not believe me. The Shell Station is very high volume, but that funnel traps water quite often. And lately more boaters are finding water in the tank.
Not sure about how a car filter would filter water unless it has a dump like the ones on my boats. I agree that when a boat (or car) sits water in suspension fall out.
