The Mormons on FR accuse everyone else of not supporting Mitt because they are anti Mormon bigots. They pretend it has nothing to do with his stellar “conservative” credentials. Likewise, I think that the reason Mormons don't all support Obama is because he is black and they are all bigots.

Rudy Guliani was 10 times more liberal than Romney ever was (in your mind)-- so why wasn't there endless threads about Rudy's past... with cutsy hateful names, or criticizing Rudy's religion, or his Italian heritage?
Where were the websites dedicated to posting 20 year old snippets of Guliani, accompanied by distortions of his quotes... or criticism of Rudy's Roman Catholic religion.
It's obvious that a segment on FR and indeed in the evangelical GOP is so rabidly anti-Mormon that they can't see their own distortions.
There are many many Republicans who have grown more conservative over the years (including Reagan, Gingrich, etc) yet no one seems obsessed with launching tirades against THEIR faith, against their current positions, etc.
WHAT is this hate filled obsession about Romney? It must be a mental disease, that's all I can figure.
