Repectfully, I disagree with you. Conservative Democrats helped put Reagan in the White House. We should bring them over to us.
Do the Dems have the Balls to actually throw Obama under the bus???
“Repectfully, I disagree with you. Conservative Democrats helped put Reagan in the White House. We should bring them over to us.”
Agreed, however that was 28 years ago. The Democratic Party has shifted even farther to the left since that time.
I guess they like the fact McCain supports bailing their deadbeat asses out of their foreclosures.
That sounds like mad dog McLame to me when he didn’t get his wetback bill passed.
“Conservative Democrat”???..........hmmmmmmmmm I’ve never considered that before??
I understand your point. Completely. The guy isn't my hero either, and for the very same reason.
But, and this is a big but. I don't believe that the Magic One will be any better on illegals. But he will be a whole lot worse on a lot of other issues.
So. I end up with a choice between sitting at home on election day, voting for the Magic One, or voting against the Magic One (which is to say, voting for McC.) I can't stay home. Too much is at stake. I can't vote for the Magic One. So what, realistically, am I left with? And, frankly, I believe that at this point (less than 100 days before the election), that any person claiming "conservitude" in any of its flavors who concludes otherwise is stamping their feet and holding their breath until they turn blue.
Am I happy about having a choice between McC and Obama? Hell no! So what am I supposed to do about it? Watch the Magic One take over the instruments of executive power under the Constitution. Once again, hell no!
Show me a viable third avenue, and I'll be happy to take it. Until then . . . .
I understand that completely. I guess for me I’m still emotionally on the level of homicidal tendencies because of GWB and liberal Republicans passing this deadbeat bail out package - and then hearing that McCain, who claims to be a fiscon, supporting it? I just shouldn’t watch Glenn Beck because he has me with a massive hate on for everything Republican. May the ghost of Thomas Jefferson come and smite them all. But yes, thinking about Obama and Pelosi in control brings me back to the world of Atlast Shrugged and $12 a gallon gas prices.
