On July 30, one bus of line 120 exploded in Beijing, the incident has been covered up.
Source told Boxun, the explosion happened after 8pm. On July 31, workers on the bus received order to search passenger's bags.
Bus line 120 passes Tiananmen, the location of explosion and damage are unkown.
Ping!
This olympics is like shining a light into a very dark place. The Chinese might wish they'd never permitted the light.
I predict that this Olympics will be a disaster and an embarrassment to the Chinese.................
It seems that the people most outraged at having the Olympics awarded to the current government in China are Chinese. Even so, the bombing of buses and targeting of civilian passengers is very wrong.
The Olympics might get pushed aside so the Chinese can restore Chinese law and order, but I don't expect anyone but the International Olympic Committee to get embarrassed about a crackdown on freedoms. Do you think China is some kind of democracy?
What’s the point about the bags? One would expect them to search the bags, I think, if they thought it was a bombing.
The Chinese have had problems with Islamic terrorism for years. My Chinese friends have been out of China for 10 years and they said it was a problem when they lived there. The press just covered it up.
Yes, one would think so.
I am sure they went in all directions at the initial stage of investigation, including searching for passenger's bags because bombing is a highly likely scenario.
The IOC is more corrupt than the UN. They have proven time and again that they don’t give a @#$^ who hosts the olympics, as long they will get paid. Like the rewarding of Russia with the 2014 winter olympics when they were in last place of all the countries in the running for it and shocked anyone following the process.
Their latest fiasco is their refusal to investigate that China is sending obviously underage athletes to the games, (age limit is 16).
The IOC is even more worthless and corrupt than the UN.
