Only a child or an aging coward would think that “cool” is some sort of objective state of being.

The “judgement” circuits in the brain are not fully wired until age 25, give “the youth” a break - they’re brain damaged.
Fortunately, most of them will grow up, mature, get a job, see the rewards of that work confiscated to give to others so that some third party will feel good about themselves,
and turn conservative.
The rest will BE that third party, and be liberals.

What's “cool” today is a dud tomorrow. But unfortunately these idiots will still be able to vote in November. Boy I'm glad I came of age during the Reagan era.

Who’s cooler? Washington or Jefferson? Lincoln or McClellan? Reagan or Mondale? How absurd.
To: SmithL

Anybody else notice that you never hear from a nicely dressed, well spoken, respectful member of the younger generation? Heavens, no! Someone like that might actually know the ins and outs of the issues facing this country, and what position their candidate takes on those issues. Oh yeah, that would mean hearing from young CONSERVATIVES.
As much as I despise the vacuous youth of today, let us not forget that a comparison can be drawn here if you simply replace the names McCain and Obama with Nixon and Kennedy. Not quite the same, but similar nonetheless.

Well of course, isn’t coolness the first think you consider when voting for leader of the free world? *sarcasim*

COOL isnt exactly an attribute for President is it???
The president has an executive position. They are both running like they have all three powers (executive, judicial and legislative)

From the mouth of bimbo babes:
"I almost registered as a Democrat to be rebellious, but I registered as an Independent instead," she tells Glamour in its September issue. "Then my dad bragged about it, so it backfired."
Meghan, a self-described "total daddy's girl," registered as a Republican as a Father's Day gift last month.
Though she's been crossing the country by bus to help the campaign, she takes issue with parts of the GOP platform.
"I don't relate to the hard right," she admits. "I think it's time to reinvent the Republican Party. And I think my dad can do it."- Meghan McCain

The same idiots who thought 18 year olds should have the vote now want to turn out the youth vote and have them make the decision based on who is cool instead of who will make the best decisions for our Nation.
