BTW, I’ve emailed the petition link to all my conservative friends. They’ve all responded positively - some didn’t know about it - and all have signed.

Pelosi miscalculated in a major way and Dems are in huge trouble. Americans want more drilling and lower gas prices. Period. Every poll shows it. This is the winning Republican issue for 2008.

I heard Newt say yesterday on Hannity's radio show that he'd be meeting with the GOP "mutiny" (my word) leaders this morning. But I didn't get the impression he'd actually be out on the floor with them.
