I can remember as a kid being pretty loud and my Mom coming into the room and saying. “With a voice like that, you will make a good preacher.” I remember thinking, If I stay loud, I have to become a preacher. I’m not sure I want to be a preacher, maybe I will be quiet. Mom got here desired result.........maybe.

Yep. stuff like that is not uncommon. I remember as a real little kid, I was told that pepper would make my food hot. So, in may little pea brain that computed that salt would make my food not hot. so when food was steaming, I loaded it with salt.
