“You never know, Europe could some day surprise us all.”

Yeah, when it becomes Eurabia.

No, I am under no illusions how this Sudetenland will turn out. Nobody will do anything except wring their hands and worry if their natural gas supply will be interrupted.

Pardon the sarcasm. I'm just no longer sure if I'm realistic or cynical. As to Europe's strong response I'll believe it, when I see it.

The French President is working the Russians for us, and the situation seems to be calming. But it is never a good idea to sit by and watch an ally get raped and pillaged. I would like to know more about the initial action that caused this. Why did Georgia go in there. It is thier country, but clearly Russia has been occupying the area with “peacekeepers” for some time.

Sorry. Won’t work. All they have to say, is “no access, no oil” and the Europeans will knuckle under. And I really don’t know what would happen if NATO troops moved into the Ukraine...

I think as an staunch ally, the president needs to land a few U.S. Airplaines and place a small contingency of American Troops and G-7 on the ground, daring the “Soviet Union/ KGB” leader (Putin) to cause harm to our troops. We have already stood them down once during the Berlin Airlift. Since Georgia is our Ally, the G-7 need to support them entirely
