I’m not sure it’s the responsibility of the MSM to “investigate” anyone. They’re paid to write digestable articles based on facts developed by others that are qualified to do so. These so called journalists are the dumb and drunk english majors that buzzed through 4 years with the philosophers and art majors discussing the comparitive values of “innee vs. outee”
The purpose of the first amendment of the U.S.Constitution was freedom of POLITICAL speech. I don’t believe the founding fathers even considered pornography as belonging in that category!
The press in this country has always considered exposing political shenanigans its primary duty vis á vis our democratic republic’s form of government. Since the 1970s journalists have come out of jounalism courses with the urge to “make a difference” in the world. Now they have a goal - and in ain’t Conservative!
That is why all the national broadcasters and most of the newspapers are in the tank for Obama - he promises to “make a difference” by bringing change. The problem is that none of them are looking closely at the man nor his message.
