Such as the site that they are already on....?
But we do have a clue: that the place was identified by people who were much closer to events than we are.

**”Work being done there is causing serious damage to a monastery with important historical and religious value. Construction workers have already uprooted ancient floor tiling, scraped off a layer of plaster from the walls, broken down antique, chiseled doors, and all this under the supervision of the Antiquities Authority.**
I really hate to see this happen to any ancient building. I’m surprised the Antiquities Authority didn’t do anything about it before they started tearing it up.
Until someone raise the issue, I don't know there's much the Antiquities Authority can do. My impression they're interested in preserving sites, and one of this magnitude, well Israel welcomes tourism. And it would be important.
I hope the figure it out, I'm sympathetic to the problem of reworking any ancient building, irrespective of it's heritage. If this is nothing more than a 1,000 year old Monestary it's worth preserving. But I don't own it, so the courts will work that out.
Yes, the tourism aspect at least should have curtailed it. Another puzzler is that David’s Tomb was on the first floor. One would expect the whole building would have been protected. I suspect someone fell down on their job like the Antiquities Authority.
