Fred Barnes said the same thing. I have never seen Biden in any interview or hearing where I got the feeling he was a “nice guy.” Frankly, he comes across as a jerk to me. He’s like that guy, Eddie Haskell?, on Leave It To Beaver when talking to the Beavers mom.

Caroline is the stand-in for Uncle Teddy, who has been in a struggle with the Clintons for control of the dem party for years. It was Teddy who went to Iowa to champion Kerry. Boston got the Dem Convention, when NY also wanted it.

This year Teddy went all out for Barry, so Caroline has to do the best she can — for the family!

Late to the party...just off the phone with the folks. My mother is not turning on the TV all week unless it's to see her people (Friends, Brett, Neil, etc.) after being sick to death of the Joe Biden Show. Who is this Dem with the malfunctioning earpiece saying that Biden has unparalleled foreign policy experience and that he knows all the conductors on the Amtrak? Um, I take the train a few times a year and can tell you the conductors’ names, too...should McCain pick me for VP?
