Fox commentators mentioning how Hillary minimized Barak and even McCain and that the speech was all about her.

ROFL re: sudden movements.

I guess I should be thankful you didn’t post the monster from Trilogy of Terror next to it. LOL

"So do y’all think her speech was effective enough to get those Hillary hold outs to vote for Obama?"

Hell no.

This is not over yet. "Count the roll call votes and I want to see his real birth certificate."

Bill K. says she mentioned Barry 10 times but did not say a bit about how he's ready to lead or be C-in-C. Mort says she never said Barry will be a great POTUS. Nina, wearing apricot, thought it was a smart speech and she did what she had to do. Fred thought it was tame, we've heard it all before. Barry's camp will be disappointed.

The best line was Brit's...he said his favorite part is when they talk about the last years of the Bush Administration...you'd think that we were living in Belarus in destitute conditions, lost jobs, hardships, failure all things that over the past eight years would cause a revolution. The Panel is laughing with their boss Brit. The McCain camp has already issued a statement that Mrs. Clinton did not address Barry's experience.

Nina is delirious...she says Mrs. Clinton is no longer shrill and very likable!

"Was I hearing it wrong?"

It was nice to see she finally figured out who Harriet Tubman was. Back when she was running for her first term of Senator, she made a gaffe and mistakenly spoke of Sojourner Truth leading slaves to freedom on the Underground Railroad.

Krauthammer - Barak was an accessory to her speech.

Possible remorse from the delegates.

In a word: YES!

There was some speaker switch, indicating to the analyst (forget who) that moved up Deval Patrick, I think. Analyst said it was a sign to him that they were getting a bit desperate.

And ... THEY SHOULD BE ... THEY’VE BACKED A LOSER !

Got to find his speech .. must’ve had blood in it.

~~~~
Here it is .. Deval Patrick’s speech:
****
http://www.bloggernews.net/117443
Greatest Generation, Federal highway system, system of colleges and universities, civil rights movement. These are the chapters of the American story, and Barack Obama understands that.
Barack understands that the gateway to a better life is a first-rate education. That’s why he’ll invest in early education so that all these kids will stop failing out of kindergarten.
Pay teachers more, emphasize math and science more, help students pay for college. A well-educated America will make things again. (Yeah, because Yale graduates always hit the assembly line.)
Working people will be able to see a path to the middle class and a secure future.
John McCain says he believes in education, but we know he’s lying because he’s against funding Head Start and wants to abolish the Department of Education.
This is no surprise, because John McCain is hypocritical just like Bush. “These are the same folks who say they believe in small government and fiscal restraint, but are responsible for the biggest runup of the Federal deficit in history.” (Well, he’s got us there.) Compassionate conservatives abandoned people before and after Katrina.
The American people have had enough, but Democrats don’t deserve to win just because Republicans deserve to lose. We need more and better programs and policies and we also need a better vision. When he was growing up in Chicago, everything was broken. But later when he got a scholarship to boarding school, things got better. His teachers would get on his case if he didn’t perform. They were trying to teach them that they were members of a community. Barack Obama challenges us to rebuild our national community.
Government can’t solve every problem. But government is the name we give the things we choose to do together. Let’s not kid ourselves, this won’t be easy. The status quo is powerful. Lots of people, even some in the Democratic party, don’t want to rock the boat. If we’re going to get the leadership that the times demand, we have to work for it. Have to ask Republicans and independents to take a chance. We have to put our cynicism and learn to say again, like the Greatest Generation, that “yes we can.”
(Little applause for this seemingly easy applause line.)
Barack Obama isn’t just a campaign, it’s a cause.
I’m surprised she didn’t say something about growing up a poor minority child on the south side of Chicago like all the other speakers.
Kristol and Barnes on Fox echoes the same assessment that I have of Hillary's DNC speech as in minimal support for the Obama nomination.
The other MO ;-) has an issue of concern to bite her tongue and plaster a fake smile.
Krauthammer also echoes the Hillary's minimal support for Obama.
“Heard that ... they’re gonna pull some hijinks, apparently,
if she doesn’t get a voice vote from every state”
By the time they get to State #32, New York, they’ll KNOW how many Supers have flipped.
If they think they have anough left to win, or even take it to a 2nd Ballot, All hell is going to break loose!!
Checkout the difference in perspective between Fox and Cnn. Fox digging at her and CNN interviewing delegates that are crying for goodness sakes. One would have thought that black lady on the floor just saw the Fuhrer.
