Fatherless boys grow up to seek adoration. Bill Clinton tonight surely looked like he was deeply enjoying that limelight, yes, that he craved and needed it.

But when Obama walked onto the stage tonight it made the former Prez and fellow fatherless man Clinton look like a shy boy.

Obama walked out there like he OWNED the crowd. He isn’t treated like a rock star; he believes he IS a rock star.

I found it a little sad. I am not sure, when the adulation is this undeserved (as opposed to George Washington, say, who had led his troops bravely into deadly battle and won), if it’s good for leadership of a country.

It’s going to be really sad for Obama after he loses and he no longer has the huge crowds cheering him on. He’ll be shunned and scorned for being a loser, just like all of the other big losers of his party: McGovern, Mondale, Kerry.

His rockstar ride is about to come to an end, and I think it is going to be very tough on the Obamas psychologically.
