Putin accuses U.S. of orchestrating Georgian war

(CNN) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating the conflict in Georgia to benefit one of its presidential election candidates.

In an exclusive interview with CNN's Matthew Chance in the Black Sea city of Sochi Thursday, Putin said the U.S. had encouraged Georgia to attack the autonomous region of South Ossetia.

Putin told CNN his defense officials had told him it was done to benefit a presidential candidate -- Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama are competing to succeed George W. Bush -- although he presented no evidence to back it up.

When told that many diplomats in the United States and Europe blame Russia for provoking the conflict and for invading Georgia, Putin said Russia had no choice but to invade Georgia after dozens of its peacekeepers in South Ossetia were killed. He told Chance it was to avert a human calamity.

‘Putin Injecting Himself into U.S. politics to Aid Obama.’

That really ought to be the headline.

Bush orchestrated 9/11 and the Georgian war. All this from a guy who is supposed to be dumb as a stump. Putin sounds like a Democrat in KGB clothing. He ought to put down the vodka and walk away from the bar.

BUSH’S FAULT!

Nope. According to the DUmmies it was...{drumroll please}:

The Evil Darth Cheney

And the DUmmies have "proof"...Joseph R. Wood, Cheney's deputy assistant for national security affairs was in Georgia shortly before this all happened, per the following LA Times story:

Why was Cheney's guy in Georgia before the war?

They now want the Russians to try him as a war criminal.

Putin is pissed because he had to accelerate his plans to over throw Georgia. He was preparing a build up and laying in wait until the big Obama win on November 4th.

Too bad for Putin, he does not get to rip off the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. Note to Russia, for once go build something for yourselves instead stealing it.

This is exactly the kind of crap that will happen if Obami wins. The new axis of evil, Obama/Pelosi/Reid, will demand that Bush and Cheney be handed over to the International Court of Justice and all their properties seized.

OF COURSE Putin’s doing what he can to get Obama elected. With a gutless empty suit in the White House, Vlad will have a free hand to re-establish the Russian empire.

And kill millions to do it. What's life to this former KGB member.

Actually, they have been giving Pelosi hell for not pushing impeachment, some were even cheering on Cindy Sheehan to run against Pelosi. Good grief, could you imagine Sheehan in Congress? And we thought McKinney was bad, LOL!

Typical KGB style, try and manipulate U.S. Presidential election. Of course, leave it up to the communist news network to give him the air time.

And that hideous little man with that hideous laugh, Pat Buchanan tells them “Saakashvili started the war - there’s no doubt about that” see video: http://www.russiatoday.com/guests/detail/1484

I have absolutely no respect for the statements that Pat Buchanan makes.

So perhaps Vlad (do you think you are smarter than us) Putin can explain how with his great Russian intellect he fell for the trap ? Why did he send his troops into Georgia when the obvious reaction would be a anti-Russian movement in Eastern Europe ? Why did he send his troops into Georgia when obviously it would be the catalyst for a new Cold War and a McCain Presidency ? Why or why did Russia make such a big mistake ?
