Well, we didn't get the perfect ticket in '08, but at least we got half of it. It's kind of bittersweet, but Gov.Palin is great!

I agree. It is sad to waste someone with that much experience, wisdom and talent. We shall see what the future holds. Perhaps he won’t mind being Palin’s Cheney in 2012.....

I think Palin is a mistake — throwing a long ball that he doesn’t need to do. Needless risk. How can the McCain campaign say she is “ready to take over as Commander in Chief” if she has a flock of young children? That said, I get the favorable comparison to Obama’s lack of experience, but Biden is going to eat her alive in a debate on the national stage.

I haven't checked replies to your post but I completely agree. She is very likeable but the first person I told this to said "Who?" The second comment was "Is he doing this to rub it in the Dems' faces?" She is too new and unknown on the national stage.

Describing something closer to what it really is, isn't 'bashing'.

It is perceived as bashing by those with emotional investments that , their internal image is if challenged these people reject the reality and believe in things like dark forces, sinister motives and of course irrational hate.
