That leaves Palin. Sure hope so!

To add to the speculation, it seems http://gov.state.ak.us and her bio page there are down.

Guys,

Drudge seems to think it’s Palin.

http://www.drudgereport.com/

He has a McCain/Palin button at the top of the page!

I disagree (but I don’t see any campaigns knocking at my door for political advice). She has more experience than nObama...but my friend, as they say, we shall see.

Lieberman is NOT in the mix.

Lieberman’s staff says he’s not the pick.

And McCain said he would not pick a pro-choice candidate.

McCain is a man of his word.

I’m with you. Palin is a nobody, conceptually speaking. McQueeg is such a media whore.
Oy vey!

Romney as Secretary of Treasury is an obvious fit.

“Romney should have some role in a McCain’s administration”

WE definitely need someone with his organizational talents in DHS. Every time Dubya was bitt in the butt by an inside attack it was always from DHS - ie Immigration, leak of classified docs, FEMA, etc.

Just out of curiosity, how long would it take a private jet to get from Massachusetts to Dayton?

Just askin’.

Two major political moves have taken place with Palin as the pick. First, it completely changes the landscape of the 2008 electorate demographics. Second, it trumps a run by Billary in 2012. I think it is brilliant.

Biden can’t attack her without looking like the bully picking on the girl. Palin has more experience than Obama.

I wanted Romney. My concerns with Palin: not enough experience as an executive. If something happens to McCain, she is a (relative) newbie to hardball politics. Plus, I’m concerned how she’ll stack up against Biden. He is a pit bull, and I haven’t seen evidence that she can rip his smug head off.

I think Sarah needs a few more years as governor before moving up.

We’ll see.

As predicted, already had a liberal on another forum say Palin is the pick ONLY because McCain wants the PUMAs. My reply: “Sorta how Obama was picked because he’s black.”

MSNBC is gloating and in agreement that it’s Ridge.

Even Wesley Clark was prasing him. They are scared of Palin.

it better not be Ridge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just before the moment of truth, Drudge had a “Obama-Bayh” bumpersticker up.
