Barf Alert! Commentary: Is McCain out of his mind?
Our favorite CNN ^ | Paul Begala

Posted on 08/29/2008 10:59:17 AM PDT by RED SOUTH

John McCain needs what Kinky Friedman calls "a checkup from the neck up."

In choosing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate he is not thinking "outside the box," as some have said. More like out of his mind.

If Paul “The Forehead” Begala doesn’t like it, then I consider it a ringing endorsement.

Well done McCain. I changed my mind about you a few weeks ago, and this fantastic decision only reinforces it.

One of the best things about this election is that James Carville and Paul Begala will soon go the way of Jody Powell and Ham Jourdan (remember them?).

Just for the sake of argument, let's say that Palin and Obama are both equally inexperienced. (I think I'm being kind to Obama, she's a governator, and he's a Chicago pol who has spent a few years in the Senate.)

But say it is so. Which is more dangerous, then, to the US of A? An inexperienced President, or an inexperienced “heartbeat away from the President”?

Just asking.

So, Paul Begala thinks John is out of his mind?

Actually, from all the noise that democrats are making, including Begala, it sure does sound like it's the democrats who are going out of their mind.

Begala and the democrats are acting like a chess player, who has been put into check and knows that with the next move, he's going to be checkmated.

For me, it was a no-brainer since I wasn't going to vote for that empty suit from the democrats.

So, my only choice was to vote for McCain.

But, now that Palin is the VP nominee, I'll have to vote twice for McCain-Palin.

And, since that Palin pick has irritated democrats so much, I might have to vote for McCain-Plain thrice.

The Democrats are in a panic.

Sarah can speak for herself, and when she does the Democrats will be sunk.

The more the liberal MSM criticizes his decision, the more convinced I am that he did the right thing. Doesn’t the MSM, especially those wild eyed talking heads at CNN, relaize that we’re on to them and know they only complain when a Democrat is getting gored?

They are angry and scared.

Even more so since many of them have no guns or religion to which to cling.

Yes they are dumb. That is one reason why the left lost seven out the last 10 Presidential elections and they are on a sure way to lose the eight of eleven Presidential elections. Even more of good news is that they do not that they are dumb, why? Because they are dumb :)
