The Democrats and their party is run by lawyers. Biden’s largest contributor is the trial lawyers. Reid, Pelosi, Obama, Biden: all lawyers. No wonder they are so screwed up.
Gov Crist on with Woffie, praising Jindall and FEMA and how different this is than last time. Jindall doing an excellent job and it is clear that this event is being handled so different. No dig on Blanco (was that her name?) openly, but surely implied.

That one’s not true. It was Obama supporter Congressman Keith Ellison of Minnesota who was sworn in using the Koran.
Pretty much says it all as she went into a 5 minute diatribe why Palin was so inept and inexperienced yet Obumma had reached a comfort level she very carefully avoided any mention of his competence or experience level!!
What hogwash,no wonder she is a plagiarist.

Oh gawd Andre Mitchell on Meet the Press again! Get rid of this hack! She’s trying to sound objective so far though.
I was one of those that wrote Meet the Press and told them that I would no longer watch them if they bring her back. Looks like someone whipped her into shape but time will tell.
How curious [not!] that the four Gulf states now have Republican governors!

I had to switch having listing to the swill Andrea Mitchell was spewing. I’m on FTN now, we’ll see how that goes and if anything newsworthy comes out.
Scheiffer says the convention is still planned to start on Monday, looks like Pres Bush won’t be there, and he has Rudy and Lieberman on.
Rudy says that McCain is focused on the gulf right now, and that Palin and McCain are on their way to MI to make their own assessment of whats going on in prep for the storm. Rudy says they will be ready for anything/everythig.
Lieberman says that he doesn’t know what the convention should do, but he knows McCain will focus on the crisis because that is how Mccain works. But there are legal aspects of the convention that must proceed.
FNC finally has some political talk.
Seen the ‘young folks’, hopefully straight talk from Sarah will sober them from the undefined Obama mush, but it looks like it’ll take a couple of weeks of detox

Schieffer shows Obama statement on Palin versus Biden. Biden can be president (wasn’t that Bush’s line on Cheney versus Edwards), and how Biden is so smart, etc.
Scheiffer again claims that Palin is not ready (didn’t use those words) and asks really Rudy: McCain couldn’t say that about Palin. Rudy responds: well of course Obama has to say that, he has NO experience himself to be President. HA. Good response.

Maria Bartiroma(the money honey) just shut Brokaw completely down on Anwar!!!
She told about how she had interviewed Palin and she made an excellent case for drilling in 2,000 acres of the 2 million acre Anwar site and how important it was for the nation.
When she was through Brokaw came back to her he started with, "beyond energy.....inferring that he had been mortally wounded on his energy question and he was,awesome!!
Maria then told Brokaw on question two, again how informed Palin was on energy and when she was through Brokaw says, "thank you very much Maria...." and moved on,that's what they do when you shut them down,priceless.!!!
