No one has forgotten. We know we will have to fight McCain tooth and nail after the election. But that is better than fighting the Stalinists of bambi, which could actually end up in an armed struggle.

Socialism isn't any less dangerous because the candidate has an R after his name espcially since McCain has sided with the socialist Democrats on many issues over the last twenty years. It's astounding so many are so eager to dismiss this fact.

We are looking to the future with Palin, as a great veep and then as a great President.

Why do people keep using the is ridiculous refrain? I'll repeat it again for the umpteenth time. VP's are for the most part window dressing. The very reason they are the VP or VP candidate is because they have agreed to support the Presidential candidate on most of the issues. In McCain's case given his voting record, it means Palin has signed onto support at least a majority of McCain's socialist positions!

That ignores the fact Presidential candidates don't select a VP candidate because the former is trying to advance the latter's career by looking four or eight years down the road. It's impossible to predict what will happen over such a long span. Presidential candidates choose a running mate to help them win their own election.

McCain is just a means to an end.

What means and end would that be?

Palin as prez in 2012. Of course its not a sure thing, and its probably a longshot, but we got nothing else going at this point and I am bettin on the longshot. If bambi gets in we don't even have the longshot.

What is your suggestion that we do? Obviously its not "vote McCain" so what is it?
