Powerful statement!

I have read all afternoon Kossacks who say Sarah was a bad mother for not making sure Bristol aborted the baby so as not to “ruin her life”. It’s amazing how they don’t realize the ridiculous irony that their own candidate was a child of an unwed teenage mother, and that he might have been aborted himself.

So are you saying that because Gov. Palin’s daughter’s child will be well taken care of that this makes her better than the son of a woman who was abandoned and had to struggle alone to make a decent life for her son? You point out that the daughter isn’t running for office, but on the other hand, neither is Obama’s mother. Weird logic!!

The GOP keeps touting itself as the party of 'family values'. Since when did family values translate into multiple marriages, infidelity, teenaged pregnancies, and illegitimate children? In case you haven't been in the real world...life happens. It's what you do with it that matters.

Palin should drop out. Its too much of a tabloid distraction,..."
You honestly think the media would have given Romney or ANY Conservative better treatment? The left wing media has gone insane with hate for Conservatives. You think for a second that the left wing hate filled media would be appeased if Palin would drop out? I cant believe you would even suggest that she should drop out because of the media. Appeasement NEVER works. Palin does what is right, to hell with the tabloid media.
"...the next round of attacks will be about her being a bad mother... This is only going to get worse for the GOP ticket."
Wave the white flag to the lefties, join them in the attacks, and they might not hurt you.
"God GOD, why didnt McCain choose Romney?!?"
The hate filled left would attack Romney too, they are so crazed with hate they would be all over him too because he is more Conservative than Lieberman or Ridge. McCain picked Palin, who is more Conservative than Romney, so grow a backbone, show a little courage and start supporting her instead of wishing she would quit!!!

The event of this election cycle can not just be a coincidence. We in America are being given such an open and shut case of choosing a culture of life over a culture of death. Very perceptive. Now that you have pointed it out it is palin as day that the sequence of events of this election show that the election really is a matter of life and death, in so many ways.

"Nonetheless, I wish nothing than the absolute best to Bristol and her future family. "
Really? Does that last line excuse you from accusing the Palins of being bad parents, and saying that their daughter should crawl under a rock and hide from shame?
Perhaps, you think she should have had it aborted and avoid the "scandal".
This is not the time in America for self-righeousness. If you want to perpetuate the newest and best hope of keeping CommieObommie out of the White House, then you go ahead.
This girl - like millions of others, has made a mistake. Obviously, you're one of the perfect ones who has never made an error...and I guess that could explain your attitude about it.
However, I once heard a wise man say, "It's not the mistakes you make in life, it's what you do to make up for them that counts.".
What's done is done...they have three options: abortion, adoption, or getting married and raising their child with the full support and love of grandparents and siblings...I choose the latter.

I remember ONE girl in high school getting pregnant and she went to live with a relative. Now, you see them prising down the school hall (maybe even with a second child).
I understand ... same here ... .

If McCain had picked Romney it would have been a 7/24 media circus about how weird the Mormons are !
The attack on a 17 year old who made a mistake will backfire big time!
This only reflects on Governor Palin if proof can be found that she told her daughter get pregnant!

Sad but true for Romney. The bigoted Democrats would be all over his religion.

A 17 y/o girl is pregnant. Unfortunate, but not all that uncommon, nor in her circumstances (She intends to marry the father and has a very supportive family of at least some means) life ruining.
Get a grip, and put things in a little perspective.
Cheney's daughter is a lesbian, and he was still elected VP for two terms.

The Rats nominate a bastard with so many skeletons in the closet it looks like the La Brea tar pits.
We nominate a wholesome mother from a family that has a fishing without a license rap, a 20 year old DUI, and a 17 year old daughter in trouble. AND she’s keeping the baby and marrying the father.
We got the best end of the deal and the rats will spend the next two months trying to convince America there’s a clean end of the Obamaturd.

How will the media play it? Will they investigate who was behind all the leaks about Sarah Palin not having her last child? That her daughter had Trig? Will the media look into these nasty nasty tricks? I’m not holding my breath !! Obama’s people feed information to Daily Kos - they were pushing this !!

I am the child of an unmarried 17 year old mother who put me up for adoption in 1960 (Lutheran Social Services) as is my 4 years younger sister. This isn't theoretical for me. If abortion had been legal then, would my sister or I be here? Senator Obama is publicly saying not to attack Governor Palin or her daughter, but his minions are going after them tooth and nail. Typical Chicago style politics.
