Yes, that was 2002. Presently, it’s his sons that are causing him trouble.

2002? What’s the point?

No point; just a little conservative humor.

You can report back to the DNC now...

Son #2 a convicted criminal

I can't find any confirmation of this. I did find where Hunter Biden and his uncle are being sued for fraud, though.

Got any sources for the conviction?

A good opportunity for our side to show some class.

When I see things like this in politics, I stop and ask myself "What would Ronald Reagan do?"

I'm pretty sure he never made political hay by going after his opponents' families, so I think we should do the same now.

And more on Biden:

September 01, 2008
We hear you Joe

*******************************EXCERPT**************************

We heard you then:

Last year, in a widely quoted interview with year the Jewish American Shalom TV, Biden said, "I am a Zionist. You don't have to be a Jew to be a Zionist," adding that "Israel is the single greatest strength that America has in the Middle East," and that its presence as a strategic ally meant that America need station far fewer troops and warships in the region.

but more importantly, we hear you now:

Democratic vice-presidential candidate Joe Biden was quoted Monday as telling senior Israeli officials behind closed doors that the Jewish state will have to reconcile itself to a nuclear Iran.

In the unsourced report, Army Radio also quoted Biden as saying that he opposed "opening a additional military and diplomatic front."

Biden, chairman of the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has long been considered strongly pro-Israel. His nomination as Barack Obama's running mate had been expected to shore up the Democrats' strength with U.S. Jewish voters.

Army Radio said Israeli officials expressed "amazement" over the remarks attributed to him.

"Israel will have to reconcile itself with the nuclearization of Iran," Army Radio quoted Biden as telling the unnamed officials.

"It's doubtful if the economic sanctions will be effective, and I am against opening an additional military and diplomatic front."

Yes Joe, we hear you now, now that you are asking us to make you Vice President. My my, how things have changed now that you're working for Barack and his agenda. Accept Iran having nukes, so what if their leader has sworn to wipe you off the face of the earth, just accept it!

Well, no, not really. Police work on behalf of the public and attacking the police is an attack on the citizenry, not a family private matter like a pregnancy.

I'd like to know more about the people she was with at the time of the incident.

Thank you!

Hmmm... I wonder if the media will respect the Bidens in saying that this is a "private matter". It seems like ALL of the Biden's kids are having trouble -- his son was sued for fraud, and now there is a charge of basically obstructing justice - you can't prevent a police officer from arresting someone by making intimidating statements. I'm not going to come out and blame Biden because God knows his children have been through a lot, but if the media doesn't press this story as hard as they pressed on Bristol (and are continuing to press on her) well, I don't know what I'll do, but it'll make me even MORE dedicated to seeing her elected! LOL It does seem like perhaps these children at LEAST have some sort of entitlement attitude at play here... Interesting things to ponder...

That’s a good question. I wonder what the guy she tried to stop from getting arrested was getting arrested for when she decided to try to intimidate a police officer (that takes brains...).

It’s not about Biden or his family. It’s about the media. It’s about the ridiculousness of the demands the media has placed on Palin, and how every little thing in her life is blown out of proportion or is a flat lie. It’s also about sexism and bigotry. It’s about the stupidity of the media’s position that the only parent that matters in a family is the mother.

I agree with your points. But that still doesn’t mean we should play the same dirty game as our opponents. That’s how Democrats win elections- by avoiding the issues and engaging in the politics of personal destruction.
