Is it over for McCain? The Republicans can pretend that the media has turned against them. They can pretend that they used the hurricane as an excuse to avoid coverage of the convention. They can pretend that only evil, sexist, misogynists are against Sarah Palin. But the truth is that McCains cronies have made a fatal choice. They ran this gal up the flagpole and the pole broke from shock.
McCain did not want Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential pick. He wanted Joe Lieberman. And as insane as it sounds, even Joe Lieberman would have been a better choice than Sarah Palin. He would have been stronger on national defense. He would have been stronger on fighting Islamofascism. And for all his far-left views, he taught his daughter well enough so that she didnt get pregnant as a teenager. But the Republican puppet masters gave Sarah Palin the nod instead. They thought women were generic. But Sarah is not Hillary to the millions of Clinton loyalists.
In Ancient Rome, the Publicans were contractors for the military and public works. The KBR of their time. Now the Re-Publicans are into contracting as well. And they seem to have taken out a contract on the presidential candidacy of John McCain. He could have been a contender. He could have been someone. But the powers that be have said, Let Obama win. And that is exactly what John McCain seems to be doing. Im Michael Savage and I approve this monologue.

Savage is not conservative and he is not liberal, he’s just a loon.
Savage doesn't like anybody other than himself and Teddy.
Mr Weiner is laughing all the way to the bank.
Go diddle yourself, Savage.
I was saying since way before the election season that I would never vote for McCain, not no how, not no way.
I’ve since eaten my words along with my hat. Obama taught me to see McCain with new eyes. It was Obama’s first earthly miracle, making me love McCain.
It didn’t take any such miracle for me to like Palin.
Weiner is a fake. His Jerry moonbat Brown support is sufficient evidence. I’ve listened to this clown enough to know his conservatism is a manufactured farce to sell no substance books.
“But Sarah is not Hillary to the millions of Clinton loyalists.”
But if BO wins, Hillary is nowhere, and they know it. They can vote for a woman now and vote for their woman in four years, or they can vote for BarryO and....
Savage has lost it.
“Puppet masters?” Is this guy off his meds? This is commie crap.
Coming from the conservative movement’s favorite Jerry Brown supporter, that’s pure comedy.
I’m trying to see what specifically Savage has against the Palin pick and for the life of me I can’t figure it out!
Is it because he wanted Liebermann in? LOL, Doc!
Is it because she’s a... well, she?
How does he know she wouldn’t be hard on Islamifacists, terrorists, and enemies of our land? I mean, I don’t know one way or the other, either, but I’m willing to listen and hear—why can’t Savage?
As far as the media “savaging” Palin, well, they’d do that to ANY pick. Savage doesn’t give a logical reason to do so also.
I used to be a fan of Michael Savage, but after he started calling Laura Ingrahm a “corpse with a cross,” I lost all respect for him. Sarah Palin is a true conservative, and a real reformer. Michael Savage has let his love of Mitt Romney, former pro choicer, socializer of medicine, cloud his judgement, and I think that he’s dead wrong on this one.
I will no longer listen to his show. Ever.
The left wing’s long knives are definitely out for Palin. She creates problems for Obama, because his experience doesn’t measure up to hers. She creates problems for the Democrat Party with women voters giving the R ticket a second look. And she creates problems for a future Hillary presidential run, if McCain wins this year. They are desperate to kill her, and kill her quick.
Of course McCain is happy. McCain is eliminating all traditional values from the Republican Party. That’s all he ever wanted to do.
I hope McCain/Palin can weather this media trash storm but I wonder. The dirt is coming so fast that some of it is probably going to stick.
It never began for Savage. loser.
yes, he has.
Not by a long shot.
At least not so pregnant that it would show. Savage is not thinking clearly with logic (or even kindness).
Indeed.
What Savage fails to realize in his overextended political analysis is that in Washington, one merely need follow the Benjamins.
What kind of money would have flowed from the Conservative base of the GOP if he'd chosen Lieberman? None.
The big money was the lure and...a requirement to keep him on cruise control through November.
He HAD to pick someone more conservative than Lieberman or even Romney.
It's always about the money. Not ideology.
