Does anyone actually believe polls at this point in the election?

I don't believe the polls. I do believe the ground shifted last night. After it was over, I was sure we're gonna win the election. I didn't feel that way last week or a few months back. We got the wind at our backs, baby! Whoo hoo!

We are just now getting to the time where the polls will begin to be more meaningful, particularly movement from period to period within each poll and the "mega" picture of all the more reliable polls taken roughly together. In a week or so, we will see the effect of the Repub convention (hoping for a nice, BIG "Sarah bounce"). Also I really would like to see the current, 15-percentage-point Obama advantage in my state of Iowa ERASED. It makes me ashamed.
