Leaving aside the issue of the cat, 100 hours of community service is way too lenient for breaking, entering, vandalism and theft to the tune of $10K, even if they're Canadian dollars.

I guess this is what happens when you take people's guns away, here in the States, you wouldn't have to break into more than a half dozen homes before you found a resident willing to dispense proper justice.
