Gee, I don't recall that making the front page of the NYT, LAT, WaPo, Newsweek, Time like these Palin smears

Though technically true, when we do it and it's pretty rare and we rarely get down to the levels of the "rats" employ almost daily

We also get called on it quickly and our party leaders tend to reign the offenders in as opposed to the "rat" party leadership who employ surrogates at their behest to do the politics of personal destruction for them

So, the Clinton’s had a surrogate father for their kid, and someone noticed -

how is that “politics of personal destruction” on the scale that we’ve seen waged against Palin?

The Chelsea/Web morph started out as a joke and because they both had a big lower lip a lot of people believed it. In her early pictures from the campaign Chelsea couldn't possibly look more like Bill Clinton, hair, coloring, close set eyes, bulbous nose but it was fun insulting hillary with the idea that she slept with Web Hubble.
